A second Mustang

Although I had not intended on owning two mustangs, I now do.  Let me revisit the process I went thru.

Earlier this year I had talked my wife into letting me purchase a Mustang as a pleasure vehicle that i could play with and get my hands dirty with.  She agreed under the condition that it was a convertible.  I have no problems with that.  :)

Off to the Junk Yard

No, I am not selling my car to the junk yard, I am off looking for parts.

Say No To Crack...

Now that the mustang seems to be running really well, it is time to work on the other parts of the car that will make it look better.  First item on the list is the windshield.

Where do you think you are going?

Over the past week, I have been driving the mustang to work to verify that the surging idle problem is gone for good.  While doing this, I was reminded of an old nemesis that I really didn’t want to try to fix at this time.  I really didn’t want to spend any more money on this car this month.  After all, we all live on a budget and when you exceed your budget, it isn’t good.

Not So Fast...

Just as I thought I had the surging idle problem fixed, it returned and reminded me of another nemesis that I had to battle to get the mustang running as it should….

The first set of problems...

As with any old or older car you will have problems.  There isn't a question of if, it is a matter of when is something going to go bad or flat our break.

Well, I finally did it.  I was able to talk my wife into allowing me to purchase a Mustang.  This was a pretty long process that boiled down to one key factor.  It had to be a convertible.  That is what finally sold her on it.  (Well, that and my constant sending pictures of different Mustangs for sale asking if I could go look at it/buy it.)
